Let's make merry while the sun shines (it could do with maybe not shining quite so much, 41 is a bit OTT) and reflect on cooler times. A time before either world war, Osama, the 14th b'ak'tun or even Gangnam style, a time just as (if not more so) commercially terrifying according to this Cracked article: 9 Disturbing Christmas Ads You Won't Believe Are Real

Despite the heat here in Merry ol' Adelaide, Australia I'm feeling in kind of a mood for some Swedish Christmas goodness. Then it turns out that it's St. Lucia's Blog Procession Day what good fortune! Visit all the links in the procession and you'll find recipes, handicrafts and all things Swedish. First thing I'm going to make is this crown I found thanks to fellow blog procession participant Good Books for Young Souls. Then I'm going to make myself some Swedish Meatballs and Glögg thanks to The Past on a Plate. God Jul everyone :)
